The resort sits on a hillside on Koh Yao Noi's southern coast, with Phang Nga Bay's limestone karsts rising offshore. All accommodation is villa-based (no standard hotel rooms), and every villa is freestanding, built on stilts in local teak with palm-leaf roofing, facing either the bay or the forested hillside. From Phuket, transfer is a roughly 30-minute drive to Ao Po Grand Marina plus a 40-minute speedboat crossing; from Krabi, a shorter drive to a pier plus roughly a 45-minute crossing.

Six Senses Spa Yao Noi is a Thai-style long house with treatment salas set into the hillside, using wearable tracking to personalize sleep, movement, and fitness programming, including a dedicated Sleep Program. An Alchemy Bar lets guests hand-blend scrubs from herbs grown on-site. Beyond the villa pools, Mai Thai Beach hosts outdoor movie nights. Family programming runs through Grow With Six Senses for ages four and up, plus a three-day Junior Eco Warrior program on the organic farm; children five and under eat free, ages six to eleven get a discount, and buffet meals carry a 50 percent child discount.

The resort holds GSTC certification through a third-party Control Union audit, part of a group-wide certification of operating Six Senses properties, and runs a farm-to-table program with an organic garden, a mushroom hut, and small goat, chicken, and duck farms.
