The property
Six Senses Samui is built into a raised, jungle-covered promontory at the island's northern tip, with most villas set higher on the hillside in a secluded, tree-screened setting and a smaller beachfront cluster at sea level. The clifftop position is the defining feature: villas, the main pool, and the signature restaurant are all oriented around the Gulf views the headland creates, rather than a flat beachfront layout. The resort's own working farm, Farm on the Hill, supplies eggs, goat milk, and vegetables to the kitchens.

Wellness, pool, and family facilities
The spa is built around five outdoor treatment salas, six indoor treatment rooms, two dry saunas, two steam rooms, a yoga sala, a meditation sala, and an Alchemy Bar for herb-and-ingredient workshops. A central horizon-edge infinity pool sits on the hillside above the Gulf, alongside the private pools built into most villas.
The Junior Journeys children's program runs off the property's own farm and local culture — meeting the resident goats, lemongrass-straw crafting, coconut-leaf origami, Thai dance classes, and gardening at Farm on the Hill.
Sustainability
Farm on the Hill is a working smallholding on the resort grounds, built to put the property's organic waste, greywater, and land to use: chickens and goats, a greywater catchment system, and organic eggs, goat milk, and vegetables for the kitchens. It's open to local schools for sustainability education, and it supplies a community market that also sells recycled-wood charcoal and local chefs' meals, with 10 percent of profits donated locally. As of December 2024, Six Senses properties — including Samui — are GSTC Certified through third-party audits by Control Union.
