The property

Hôtel de Crillon occupies a building commissioned in 1758 by King Louis XV and designed by architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel. It forms one half of the twin Neoclassical facades that flank the Place de la Concorde, the other being the Hôtel de la Marine. Guillaume Coustou is credited with the facade's Corinthian colonnade and sculptural details. Before opening as a hotel in 1909, the building served as a private residence for the family of the Count of Crillon.
The hotel underwent a four-year renovation and reopened in 2017 under Rosewood Hotels management. As part of that renovation, the Grands Appartements, the property's most historic suite category, were restored and designed by Karl Lagerfeld. The address sits directly on Place de la Concorde in Paris's 8th arrondissement, within walking distance of the Champs-Élysées, the Tuileries Garden, and rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
The property also operates Sense, A Rosewood Spa, which includes a pool, sauna, steam rooms, a resting area with a salt wall, a fitness studio, and a hair salon operated by David Lucas.
Rooms and suites overview

The hotel has 78 rooms and 36 suites. Within the suite category, 10 are designated Signature Suites, including the Karl Lagerfeld–designed Grands Appartements. Other named categories include the Premier Suite, Grand Premier Suite, and Family Suites (such as Les Ateliers d'Artistes). Rooms are described by the property as residentially styled, with custom art and marble bathrooms; suites incorporate French design elements with bespoke furnishings and textiles. Specific room and suite square footage is not published on the official site. A separate dedicated page covers room-type detail.
Dining overview

The hotel operates six dining and bar venues: Nonos & Comestibles par Paul Pairet (a French grill concept led by chef Paul Pairet), L'Herbier Secret (a plant-based venue led by chef Alan Taudon), Jardin d'Hiver (all-day dining and afternoon tea, pastry program led by Matthieu Carlin), Butterfly Pâtisserie (a standalone pastry and chocolate boutique), Bar Les Ambassadeurs (cocktails and live music, with a terrace overlooking Place de la Concorde under the building's arcades), and La Cave (a private dining room built around the hotel's wine collection). A separate dedicated page covers dining detail.
Dining
Overview: Dining is led by Executive Chef Alan Taudon alongside Chef Paul Pairet at Nonos & Comestibles, the hotel's city dining room built around modern French-grill cuisine. Taudon also leads L'Herbier Secret, a second-floor terrace serving a five-course plant-based tasting menu with wine pairings to a single table of four to six guests, Thursday through Saturday evenings. Jardin d'Hiver operates as an all-day lounge for tea and lighter dining in one of the property's most historic rooms. Butterfly Pâtisserie, led by Pastry Chef Matthieu Carlin, presents pastries and chocolates in a boutique atelier setting. Bar Les Ambassadeurs is the signature bar, overlooking Place de la Concorde with a terrace under the arcades and live music. La Cave is a private dining room set within the hotel's wine collection, used for intimate dinners and tastings rather than walk-in service.

Rooms & categories
Overview: Hôtel de Crillon's Paris accommodations comprise 78 rooms, 36 suites, and 10 Signature Suites. Entry-tier Deluxe and Premier Rooms occupy the first through sixth floors, finished with custom art and marble bathrooms, Deluxe Rooms overlooking the inner courtyards and Premier Rooms facing either the courtyards or the quiet pedestrian Rue Boissy d'Anglas. Deluxe, Premier, and Grand Premier Suites step up from 548 to 775 square feet, each built around a separate lounge and bedroom, with butler service, a personal bar, and evening turndown. The Signature Suites carry the most visible history: Suite Duc de Crillon occupies the former Crillon family private chapel on the second floor, with original woodwork remaining in the living room (other remnants now held by New York's Metropolitan Museum). Suite Bernstein, sixth floor, is named for composer Leonard Bernstein, a frequent guest, and includes a dining room for six and a private terrace facing Place de la Concorde. Suite Louis XV is the largest named suite at 1,249 sq ft, combinable with Suite Bernstein for a 3,768 sq ft two-suite residence.
